REPORTS AT THE 2ND EDITION OF THE LASER ACADEMY AT IEO MILAN
2025.10.07 IEO MILANO
On October 7, 2025, I attended the second edition of the Laser Academy, held in Milan at the prestigious National Cancer Institute (IEO), delivering two presentations on "Principles of Cellular Regeneration" and "Update on the Use of Ablative Laser in the Treatment of Genitourinary Syndrome and Incontinence."
The event represented an important opportunity for industry experts to exchange views and learn from one another, with the aim of disseminating the latest technical and scientific knowledge on different types of lasers, in line with the most advanced developments in laser therapy.
In recent years, the CO₂ laser, in addition to traditional conservative treatments for precancerous and initially invasive lesions of the lower genital tract, has further expanded its clinical indications thanks to the introduction of microfractionated photothermolysis technology, which allows for increasingly effective and selective treatments, promoting tissue regeneration processes and improving the quality of clinical results.
This latest participation is part of the ongoing commitment to disseminating a scientifically based and technologically up-to-date approach to the use of lasers in gynecology, both ablative and regenerative.
