28TH BRAZILIAN CONGRESS ON LOWER GENITAL TRACT PATHOLOGY AND COLPOSCOPY, HELD IN ARACAJU (BRAZIL).
2026, September, 10-12
I participated as an international speaker representing the Republic of San Marino at the Brazilian CBPTGIC 2026 Congress, held in Aracaju from September 10 to 12, 2026.
My scientific contribution consisted of five presentations focused on the use of laser technologies in gynecology:
• physical principles, safety standards, and CO₂ laser-tissue interaction;
• use of the micromanipulator, dual-wavelength systems, and different laser types;
• treatment of genitourinary atrophy using fractional laser;
• a mini-lecture on CO₂ laser technologies in gynecological clinical practice;
• laser types and their indications regarding energy-based therapies for the lower genital tract.
The presentations provided an in-depth look at the physical, technological, and clinical aspects of laser therapy, emphasizing the importance of proper patient selection, parameter settings, and adherence to safety protocols. Particular attention was paid to integrating scientific knowledge, clinical experience, and the responsible use of new technologies.
Participation in the congress offered a valuable opportunity to engage with Brazilian specialists, fostering an exchange of experiences and strengthening international scientific collaboration in the fields of lower genital tract pathology and laser gynecology.
