Born in Melito P.S. (Reggio Calabria) on 5.11.1983 she undertook classical studies, brilliantly achieving her high school diploma in 2000, passionate about genetics and molecular biology, she followed the course of related university studies and in 2004 she obtained the degree in Medical Biotechnology with full marks at the Faculty of Bio-science and Biotechnology of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
At the same University, he completed his studies in Medicine and Surgery obtaining a Master's Degree in 2009 and to follow the Specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 2017 with the maximum mark.
In the training course he acquired particular skills in the obstetrical-gynecological ultrasound sector and in non-invasive prenatal diagnostics through the 1st and 2nd level and invasive fetal morphological evaluation (amniocentesis, villocentesis), in the clinical management of physiological and complicated pregnancies, in counseling and management of malformative pathology. He participated in the intense ward and delivery room activities with extensive operating cases and in the management of PMA protocols and counseling of related pregnancies. She has engaged in research and is the co-author of numerous publications of scientific articles in the most important international gynecological-obstetric journals.
The training course was enriched with the title of Sexual Consultant having attended the 2nd level Master at the University of Pisa until 2014, therefore he completed the process by achieving the Specialty in "Clinical Sexology", at the Study Center for Psycho-Affective Disorders DAS of Genoa having acquired the tools for psycho-sexological intervention and support of major sexological disorders.
"Fetal Medicine Foundation" accredited operator for first trimester screening (nuchal translucency and additional markers) and IOTA accredited operator, for gynecological ultrasound diagnostics.
Constantly updated on management and treatment protocols for obstetric-genetic pathophysiology, it participates annually in the most important conferences and training courses in the national and international scenario
Currently Hospital Medical Director at the Maternal-Fetal UOC of the San Marino State Hospital (I.S.S.).
